APRON

ROSETTE -

a decorative, wooden part attached to the end of the rail designed to anchor the balustrade to the wall. Rosettes can be round or oval, square or rectangular. They can also be customized in an “L” shaped manner intended to secure the balustrade to an outside corner of a wall. An alternate method of attachment uses an opening cap fitting cut to fit the desired wall location. This allows the rail to ‘flow’ into the wall. For outside corners a ninety-degree shaped section is cut out of the opening cap fitting, allowing the rail to ‘wrap’ around the corner.
