| APRON |
GOOSENECK FITTING - is the transition piece between an angled rake rail and a level section of rail connecting to the newel post (either PTP or OTP). This is the upward curved section of handrail that connects the rake rail into a vertical straight rail which then turns into a 90 degree horizontal rail which ends either into or over the newel post depending on the handrail system chosen.
