CURBED STAIRCASE -

also known as a ‘Knee Wall’ Stair or a ‘Curb Wall’ Stair, this construction closes the treads with a short wall on which the bottom of the balustrade, or the balusters, are anchored. The top handrail section remains open to personal preference when choosing either a PTP or OTP system.
